Is it possible to have a healthy dessert that contains chocolate? Of course it is!
I crave sweets just about every day. I try and keep myself on track as best I can, and this is one way I am able to do it — these little cookie dough protein bites are the best!
Don’t raise you nose at the fact that these contain beans. Seriously, try them before you commit to having an opinion. You won’t regret it!
Cookie Dough Protein Bites
3/4th can chickpeas
1/2 cup natural peanut butter
1/2 cup vanilla protein powder OR Vital Proteins Collagen Peptide
2 tbsp honey
1/2 cup mini dark chocolate chips
Combine chickpeas, PB, protein powder and honey in a food processor. Mix until well combined ( may need to add 1-2 tbsp warm water to help blend). Fold in chocolate chips and roll into bite-sized balls.
You can store in the refrigerator or freeze for later! A great snack to enjoy PRE or POST-workout.
