Easy Breakfast Ideas

Each recipes yields 1 serving

Banana Almond Smoothie:


1 cup unsweetened Almond milk

1/2 frozen banana

1 tbsp almond butter (the ingredient list should say almonds and salt – that’s it!)

1 scoop Vital Protein Collagen Peptides

4-5 ice cubes

Directions: blend everything together and enjoy!


Overnight Oatmeal:


1/4th cup oats

1/4th cup unsweetened milk or milk alternative (almonds, coconut, hemp, soy)

3 oz plain non-fat Greek yogurt (optional)

1 tbsp chia seeds

1 tsp cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice

½ cup berries or sliced banana (optional)

Directions: Mix everything in a container, top with a lid and put in the refrigerator. The next morning add a dash of milk, a sweetener (if you want) and enjoy!


Microwave Coffee Cup Scramble:



2 eggs

2 tbsp. milk

Optional: salt & pepper; 1 tbsp. chopped onions and peppers

Directions: Coat 12-oz. microwave-safe coffee mug with cooking spray. Add eggs and milk (optional vegetables); beat until blended.

MICROWAVE on high 45 seconds; stir. microwave until eggs are almost set, 30 to 45 seconds longer.


Almond Butter and Jam Waffle Sandwich:


2 whole grain waffles

2 tbsp. almond butter (may substitute peanut butter)

1 tbsp. 100% natural jam (go for the real stuff and try to aim for less than 10 grams sugar per serving).


Peach, Walnut and Greek Yogurt:


1 cup low-fat or non-fat plain Greek yogurt

1/8th cup walnuts

1 small peach, sliced (or 1 serving fruit of choice)


Hard Boiled Egg and Avocado:


1 slice whole wheat bread, toasted

1/4th avocado, mashed

1 hard-boiled egg, sliced

Salt and pepper, to taste
